This feels cheap with the fact that they used jump scares to make the movie ‘scarier’. Marble Hornets barely ever really used jumpscares and just had a lot of chases as well as more analog horror. Sucks that the movie doesn’t even seem to have a single character from Marble Hornets other than the Operator. 6/10.
The movie mentions An American Family from the early 70s; it was the first reality show. PBS expected the Louds to be a shiny happy family, but they were a real one, instead. Controversial stuff at the time. The son Lance was the first openly gay regular character on TV.

Such a pathetic movie trying to bank of the name Marble Hornets. Grew up watching Marble Hornets back in the day and I remember being excited when this movie came out but was heavily disappointed.
I can see how it relates to marble hornets but in a different way then I expected
I like this more than the official version because we’ll the official version was okay-ish. But this was way better and made it kinda realistic with the camera filming like they did in cloverfield.
I hate that they censor the cuss words. We all know what they’re saying

Very slow and goes nowhere. The constant audio cutting out is not a good effect. Its an annoyance. Same old, same old bad movie make. But that's only my opinion. It's yours that counts.

This is not marble hornets, this is a slenderman movie
I don't get this movie's plot. So an evil presence from I don't know where or why except from a camcorder, goes around killing certain people? Why and whom does it choose? Why did it choose Dan and his family? The wife said Dan invited it in and obsessed about it. But how did Dan invite it in when it showed up in his camcorder first? I didn't see Dan doing spells or reading satanic books. Anyway pieces of this movie's concept remind me of 'Sinister' 2012. Evil that comes in through film 🎥📽️. At least that movie had a backing story that made sense as to why things happened the way they did in Sinister. I give 'Always Watching' 2/5 stars.
decided id go on a little trip and would check this film out. Have no idea about the lore of marble hornets or anything, but this movie legit has gotten me intrigued.
I adored so much about it. I loved how The Operator was handled, I loved the cast, and whoever had performed Milo is insane, I love this film so much. There's alot of issues with the film though, its pacing is off and alot of things happen, but the effects and the sick ways they handled everything make up for it.
7.5/10. Would recommend.
