  3. In the UK we call it, self raising flour. I made 2 batters for my son's marble cake. One plain vanilla and one with cocoa powder. I did it the hard way. I piped the batters in circles in the tin. Alternating between batters. My filling was chocolate ganache.

  15. Love your videos! I have noticed the USA don't divide the batter into 3 like we do in Australia for a marble cake. We add a 3rd coloured with pink food colouring and sometimes flavoured with strawberry essence.

    β–’2ΒΎ cups cake flour (330g)
    β–’2 tsp baking powder
    β–’Β½ tsp kosher salt
    β–’1 cup unsalted butter room temperature (227g)
    β–’1ΒΎ cups granulated sugar (350g)
    β–’4 large eggs room temperature
    β–’1ΒΌ cup whole buttermilk room temperature and divided (300mL)
    β–’1 tbsp vanilla extract
    β–’4 ounces dark or semi-sweet chocolate chopped (113g)

  23. Making the frosting is a bit difficult. Other than that after trying various other recipes, the cake turned out to be soft and delicious.
    This recipe is the best one so far.

  25. Made this today. The only thing I did different was adding a tablespoon of coffee and mixing it well with the chocolate chips melted. Just to bring out the chocolate flavor a little more. Came out excellent
