I’ve got the color swap printing as I type this, so I hope it’ll work
I think I figured the carousel out. As well on the top as on the bottom there are height differences in the entrances. Meaning a height entrance, would be an entrance, and the low ones would actually be the exit. So if you look at the image you see the blue ball is entering on a high, and since there is a slope, it will roll down toward the left, pushing the carousel around, since there is a green divider it would be pushing away. That way it will immediately exit the carousel. But if a marble where to enter the carousel on a low, it will not exit, because you can see that the green part is lower than the white part, so the marble will temporarily stop. So I guess that when the carousel is caused to turn by another entering marble, it will turn with it and be placed at a high entrance, so that it still can't get out. The next turn though it will end at a low exit, and will roll out of the carousel. I guess that the connection between the pieces means that if the top is caused to turn, the bottom will soon with it, giving opportunities for marbles to enter and exit the spinner real fast since it will be spinning a lot. That's my guess on how it will work
